Located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, we designed this mixed-use compound as a large-scale urban development combining a shopping mall, office spaces, and high-end residential units within a coherent and integrated composition. With a built area exceeding 150,000 m², the project aims to create a true urban centrality where commerce, work, and living coexist within a unified and legible environment.

Our architectural concept is based on a clear functional organization while maintaining strong visual and spatial connections between the different programmatic components. We structured the retail areas at the lower levels to activate the public realm, while offices and residential units rise above in a layered configuration that ensures privacy, operational efficiency, and high-quality views.

We gave particular attention to bioclimatic design strategies adapted to Riyadh’s hot climate. The façades are conceived as environmental filters, integrating shading systems, controlled openings, and recessed volumes to reduce direct solar exposure while maximizing natural daylight. Outdoor spaces, terraces, and landscaped voids contribute to the creation of shaded, comfortable microclimates throughout the project.

The volumetric composition was carefully designed to optimize orientation and promote natural cross-ventilation, improving thermal comfort while reducing overall energy consumption. Vegetation is integrated at multiple levels, reinforcing the presence of landscape within this dense urban structure and enhancing environmental performance.

The architectural expression adopts a contemporary, refined, and rigorous language based on volumetric simplicity and compositional clarity. The shopping mall façade is distinguished by a fluid and dynamic design language with soft, organic lines that reinforce the identity of the project. This gesture is further enhanced by an integrated LED lighting system within the envelope, giving the building a vibrant and constantly evolving nighttime presence.

Overall, the project establishes a strong urban landmark that is both functional and iconic, combining architectural identity, environmental performance, and urban intensity in line with Riyadh’s development ambitions.
