Located in Tunisia, we designed the Marhaba Palace 5★ Hotel as a coastal hospitality project where architecture, landscape, and climate are fully integrated into a coherent and contextual composition. The project aims to maximize sea views while ensuring functional clarity, climatic comfort, and a strong architectural identity rooted in its site.
Our concept is based on stepped volumes acting as windbreaks, organized in two wings forming a V-shape toward the coastline. This configuration creates sheltered outdoor spaces around a central swimming pool opening onto the sea, while ensuring that most rooms and common areas benefit from panoramic views.
We gave particular attention to functional organization, separating guest rooms oriented toward the sea from the thalasso, congress, and retail areas facing the road and landscaped green zones, ensuring efficiency and privacy.
The architectural language is inspired by the traditional architecture of Monastir, which we reinterpreted in a contemporary way through arcades, patios, galleries, and mineral materials. This approach creates a dialogue between local heritage and modern hospitality design.
The project was awarded the 3rd Prize in the competition, recognizing the strength of its architectural concept and its contextual relevance.
